The Engine Controls Engineer will support the enhancements and new feature development of New Product Introduction and Current Product Support engine controls. You will work as a part of a team to develop control strategies and requirements, troubleshoot customer issues, support problem resolution, design solutions and support control system calibration and validation.
Skills Required For Wabtec Jobs 2021 :
- Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job experience in defining and developing engine controls
- Edison Engineering Development Program Graduate (GE Employees only)
- Experience with modeling, simulation, calibration tools used in engine control system development
- Strong background in Internal Combustion Engines with respect to engine performance, combustion, emissions and control
- Skilled in designing, using and analyzing SIMULINK model diagrams
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, oral and written
- Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
- Personal Computer (PC) proficiency with standardized Microsoft (MS) Office products
